Why Iam villianess, Can't I be a side character

Hello,
If you had asked me earlier who Iam then I have told you that Iam a typical small town girl ,and there is nothing special about my life.

but now ...............
A second ago I was in the comfort of my room reading a book and then next day . Boom , I Ashley Miller got to know that I had become a villianess of that shitty book , which I have been reading for past two days and had completed on last night . Interesting isn't??
No, not at all !!
some will find it it interesting but not me because iam one of the main character , why I can't be a side character , who can live her life peacefully without being noticed and yeah also without being having always afraid of getting killed.
Sigh!
