We've all heard the tales of the great Artemis, goddess of the hunt and stars. She is surrounded by her loyal huntresses as they travel the mortal world. However, the myths have neglected to tell us why Artemis is a maiden goddess. Why she vows to never let a man join the hunt. Arethusa, a simple river nymph wanting more in life, will have to leave the only home she's ever known to save it from the poison that is war. Traveling with he Hunters of Artemis, Arethusa is shown the horrors and beauties of humanity. Can a goddess so driven towards her goals, and loyal to her hunters even think about falling for a nymph as selfless and naive as Arethusa? Cover art: Julie Kabbach

Callisto, daughter of the ruler of Arcadia King Lycaon, had left royalty when she became a huntress of Artemis and take a vow of chastity. Figuring that it would be easy to fend off men, she hadn't known that fending off women was the real challenge. There are many versions of her story, but I am going to follow Hesoid's and Ovid's with the lost work of Attie Amphis.
