The Truth Untold

He tried to compose himself.
He tried not to cry.
He tried not to yell and burn the whole world down.
He tried not to kill his own mother.
He closed his eyes and focused on the woman on him. "My weakness is painful and deadly," he whispered. She cupped his cheeks, looking him in the eyes with so much seriousness.
"Your weakness is power," she whispered back, wiping the tears that crashed down his eyes.
"Asami, what. . . What is happy?" He asked her. The last time he felt joy was a long time ago, he doesn't remember any emotion anymore.
"It's this," she chuckled through pain and smashed her lips onto his, feeding off of his pain.

The thorn in his family's side is Heon, the company's successor.
Asami is a genuine person who is well-liked by many. They both fall in love as they dedicate more time together, but they are hesitant to commit to each other because of the reactions they will receive if they confess. He's attempting to push himself away for the sake of love, and he wants her to despise him. He becomes icy and abrasive, but his words give her hope for a relationship.
