The nation of Illéa was looking forward to their Crown Princess, Helena Schreave, taking her rightful place on the throne. But the younger Princess needed more time, as she had not been groomed for the role of Queen. Now after years of grooming to become Illéa's new Queen, Princess Charlotte follows tradition and hosts a Selection. Inviting 35 men to the castle to compete for her hand.
And among the 35 is Levi Hernandez. The unconventional choice for the role of King and husband. Everyone knows he shouldn't have been accepted. The veteran, tattooed, car mechanic knows he shouldn't be there either.
But little does everyone know Charlotte picked his application. She knew he wasn't going to be her family's first choice, especially her father's. Maybe it was purely out of rebellion, or maybe it was because something about him caught her eye, but whatever it was, he's there, and Charlotte's the only one willing to give him a chance.
