He lets out a deep chuckle that sends tingles down my back. "That's hilarious coming from you."
"What is your fucking problem with me?" I ask slightly pissed off but mostly confused.
"What's my problem with you? You're a hotheaded, loudmouth, annoying prick." He steps closer to me with every word.
"Yeah, well you're just a condescending, egotistical, full of yourself, little bitch."
He walks so close he's between my legs as I'm still seated on the counter, and the distance between us is all I can think about.
"I hate you so much Evens." He breathes out, the warmness of his breath fanning over my lips.
"The feeling's mutual, Rivers." Our eyes never break contact, and a suffocating silence takes over the little distance between us. His eyes flick down to my lips and then back up to my eyes. Before I can speak his hands grab my waist and pull me closer to him. A soft gasp leaves my lips but it's silenced when his mouth crashes onto mine and without a second thought I kiss him back.

Caiden Evens isn't normal, he's been in the foster care system since he was three, he has no idea of how he ended up there but after more than 20 different placements over his life he's stopped hoping that his real family might be out there.
That is until his current foster father moves him across the country and into a school where he meets two strangers who look abnormally like him.
What happens when he meets his father after 14 years who he always believed gave him up. Add to that three extra brothers and their arrogant bestfriend who won't seem to leave Caiden alone. All while trying to hide the constant abuse he's put through at home, will he ever find a true family?
