Natalia always has to avoid the rumours about her in school. She's always been able to; and, like every single time, one rumour makes her snap. Makes her snap enough to kill the culprit.
Well, kill or change them into the same kind of monster she is. A blood-sucking, unforgivable, unforgettable, hateable, stupid, waste of space, monster of a vampire. She can't help it when people make things up about her.
And, like every other time, she ends up moving after the incident. Always changing her last name. Some past identities include:

-Natalia Johns
All the same except for the last name.
So when Natalia and her vampric guardians move to Jacksonville, Florida they obtain a new identity. The Smith's. Natalia Smith. She soon enrolls at a private academy and only three weeks into being there rumors start up about Natalia Smith. And the one that makes her break is started by James Bryce.
But she finds out a secret that makes it impossible for her to kill or change him.
James isn't human...and love bites, doesn't it?
