April Cross, an American woman, and her Japanese wife, Mayumi Hirano-Cross, live their lives happily in L.A., carefree of what the world may think of them as a couple. Always by each other's side, with a love that is envious to others. 

But a family tragedy takes April back to her old hometown, where the issues of the past still haunt her. And with Mayumi by her side, they encounter bias and anger that need to be dealt with. 

Can April move on from her past and possibly salvage the damage to her family? 
And can Mayumi really be of help to her wife during this turbulent time?

This story is a spin-off from my Citrus fan fiction "A Long Way From Home/Trust", focusing on my own characters, April and her wife Mayumi. While writing my fan story, I decided to write a story about them and their lives together, as well as parts of their past.

She over heard her husband that he'll sell Matsuri to some other gangster when she's older so she decides to run away and takes Matsuri with her. Years later Matsuri's father is still looking trying to know where Matsuri is so he could sell her. Meanwhile Matsuri ended up meeting her old childhood friend and her step sister who are secretly dating but she then starts getting interest in Harumin Taniguchi. She didn't understand what these feelings inside her was and ignored it. Matsuri decides to bother Harumin more often whenever she's alone without Yuzu. Harumin never liked Matsuri the first time she met her but sometimes she didn't want to admit that she likes to be bothered by her sometimes not always. She always thought Matsuri was a bad girl...she later finds out that this little bad girl is part of the Mizusawa gang who are gangsters. After sometime Harumin decides to talk to Matsuri about her secret life but Matsuri decides to play a little game with Harumin and the loser gets to be punished. Harumin had a bad feeling about it but Matsuri told Harumin if she won she would tell her everything so she had no other choice but to play the little game. Harumin ends up losing and ends up getting punished by...a kiss?! Harumin's first kiss was stolen from the little bad girl will she also have stolen her heart?
