Brooke is an average 16 year old girl. She loves rock and roll, and anything Green Day. She likes ice cream and pizza and staying up late watching a tv show.
Even though she is normal, she sticks out like a sore thumb in her community.
She has Angiosarcoma heart cancer, which is a very rare cancer that is located in the heart. She is an even more rare case that started directly in her heart, and the tumor was actually cancer. When the doctors found the heart tumor it had already spread to her lungs.
When her doctors tell her she has a few months to live, she wants to do everything she's ever dreamed about- from diving with sharks to riding a ride at an amusement park.
She doesn't want to do all of this stuff alone of course. She takes her only two friends, Jason and Ava, with her on a journey to complete her life.
