Undertale was just a game made to capture the attention of young kids with easily distracted minds. Of course, You have never played the game yourself but you have a little cousin that was practically obsessed with it. Just from how he acted you could only figure out what kind of monstrosity he was playing just from his actions. You didn't bother to play it yourself or watch him play the game, no you didn't want to "subject your grown adult mind to such a childish mind addictive game."
You of course had seen some characters from the game here and there, especially the fanmade games. It seemed like thousands of kids all over the world had subjected their mind to this game and one particular character.
