"Where is he?" The question ran through my head at least a million times. "When is he coming home?" I hadn't seen my dad in months. He was my everything. No one ever meant as much to me as he did. No one ever will. And he knew that. So why would he leave? No, he wouldn't. He wasn't gone. He was gonna come back for me. Not for mom, or Amber. But for me.
