Summary:
She's the school's miss unpopular and he's America's mister popular and playboy.
She's quiet, shy, beautiful and has a great voice while him, on the other hand has a great voice like her but is arrogant, has a huge ego and not to mention a playboy.
Melody Mclain wants to have a low profile in school. She wants to have a normal life. She likes singing and playing the piano. She then enters a talent show in pursuit of a decent education.
What if the greatest pop sensation, John Brakes decides to visit the school for observation before the contest? What if he would still continue breaking the hearts of many girls? Will that stop when she meets the shy girl with brown curls? And will love bloom between them in such a limited time?

Scarlet Hewitt is 15, half american, half danish and lives in Denmark which she's lived in for a year now. Scarlet loves music, she is a bit of a singer-song writer . Its the last week of summer and she is going on camp to Oslo, with a leisure club that she goes to. Everyone at school knows Melody Plum is the smartest, best-behaved girl at Sacred Heart. She's kind, quiet, and liked by both students and teachers. She's also one of the prettiest around and could easily become the most popular girl in school, if she cared about stuff like that. She has never dreamed he would ever see her as a woman and accepts that she will be never be anything else to him but the best friend of his son. At least that's what she thinks. But Mr. Davenport has a secret, too. He has watched Melody grow up into a beautiful young woman over the years and what he is feeling for her now is decidedly not paternal...
The Broken
John Newton is about to complete his sessions with Doctor Olivia Atkins, a psychologist, after nearly six months. In an unfortunate event, where he saved Olivia's life, John ends up in the hospital fighting for his life. While John is in a comma, Olivia confesses her feelings for him and begs him to keep on fighting for his life. Miraculously he pulls through but paid the price by losing his eyesight. The loss of sight made him choose against a relationship with Olivia but she wasn't to be deterred by that, she decided to become his friend and work from there. John relieved that she did so, accepted her into his life and cherished the help she offered. John's past and his anger towards the world remains a stress point in their relationship since he doesn't want to open up his heart to Olivia. Another stress point is Wayne Thompson, an old school friend, that suddenly appeared in the scene A group of women that came to visit his mother are stunned when they hear him sing from within the confines of his room. Daily his love for singing increases making his mother happy because she last heard him sang eighteen years ago. An opportunity to participate in a National talent competition adds conflict between him and Olivia, but eventually, he agrees to go for the audition. Olivia follows his progression closely from home in Gordon's Bay. On the morning of the final Christine dies and after yet some more conflict, caused by Wayne, John's mood are down in the dumps. John's sings his heart out the evening exclaiming his love for Olivia through a song.Concluida
