After the tragic death of his father, Michael decides to move back into his childhood home to help take care of his grieving mother. The house he loved no longer felt as lively as it once was. Soon, sinister activity began to take place... And the sounds all led to the space part of the house. One night Michael asked himself, "What lurks above?" 

**Author's Note: This is a horror short story I wrote for my English class as a junior. Completely original material with original characters.
