The help desk got many visitors. Most of which were pretentious, arrogant assholes who had nothing better to do than argue with the workers about why they didn't belong in hell. Spoiler alert- they did. And then there were the few who got lost, didn't actually belong in hell, or just accepted the fact that they were bad people. For the most part, everything had a system and protocol, and hey if worst came to worst, they could always call Lily. She always seemed to know what to do. Everything had been going great. No doors had been closed by dead teachers, no inter-dimensional shenanigans going on with Martha or Death, and Ruggy even got the ice cream machine to start working again. Then it happened. Nobody expected it. Hell, not even Lily knew what to do. Not that you can really blame them all that much. What are you supposed to do when an insecure, non-binary, pansexual, 14 year old shows up asking for directions and starts chatting with terrifying demons that scare the pants off marines? Everybody knows they're not supposed to be there, but with them cursing like a sailor and firmly believing that they can't go to heaven for reasons they refuse to share, nobody wants to send the kid off for somebody else to deal with. Especially not Ruggy, who's still healing from her own wounds from previous life. But what are they supposed to do? The help desk isn't exactly suited for teenagers, and the visitors can even make Lily and Penny need mental health days - not they don't get them anyway. Then again, that newest visitor is looking pretty agreeable after that verbal assault they just gave him. Maybe this kid can stay after all... --- Hells Belles Fan-fiction from @sea.ya.later on TikTok.
