Brooke Carter is a 25 year old internet-famous rock/soul singer who is looking to get her life and her music career back on track after a bad break-up left her feeling like a failure and unsure of herself. So when her sister/manager, asks her to do a private gig for a friend, she agrees hoping this will spark her creativity and get her writing songs again. After the show, she meets and feels an immediate connection with a man twice her age who just happens to be hip-hop icon, Adam Horovitz one-third of the Beastie Boys!
