In a faraway and peaceful place, four colonies live and thrive together. That is, until a fifth, mysterious colony, makes themself right at home and takes over, their power overwhelming anybody who stand in their way.
From then on, every year, two kids from the other colonies are taken by this new colony, for unknown purposes.
A young girl from this new colony meets a new, odd, friend, who seems to be from the same colony, but looks and behaves quite different. They are both, however, suspicious of the leaders of their colony- the first girl's parents.
Will these two find the answers behind their colony's mysteries?

They were never given a choice, only the cold looming shadow of a power far greater than them when they decided to condemn the evolutionary design and man handled into existence their own path of 'heroism'. Now, these walking anomalies patrol the glass and grime skyline of Haem city, a place where chrome and corruption reek havoc side by side. Where sin and silicon are separated by a gap of letters and not materialistic gain. The mutagens call themselves saviours, the Authority calls them property and the villains refer to them as misguided. They were made to serve humanity, when they were never humans themselves.
