Camilo had never truly been seen before. He worked so hard, but he was always shifted, always someone else. When he was at home, he was just the Madrigal whose Gift was useless. Abuela made sure of that. When cracks threatened to take down Casita at Antonio's Gift ceremony, he knew it was his chance to finally be seen.
