L'amour est l'enfer. It means "Love is Hell." It really is, when you think about it. You could be living your worst nightmare with that significant other. They could haunt your dreams, torture you for eternity, and you might still love them.

Y/N didn't really bother with love. It was a notion unfamiliar to him. He spends most of his time working, toiling his soul away for his selfish prick of a boss. Until one fateful night, his subconscious concocted up the strangest dream of his life.

It wasn't entirely a dream, but it changed his life. Whether that be for the better, or the worst, he wasn't sure.

[~] This is meant to sound as ridiculous as possible, and it's also my very first x-reader! Only reason I'm writing this is to fulfill my end of a deal I made with a friend of mine, and it's very fun. [~]

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
