~3,000 years ago~

Zeldris and Meliodas were scouting the demon realms area striking down goddesses if need to. But they both came across something abnormal. It was a ball of light and darkness. They were both confused about what it was so they approached it. As they got closer they saw a body of a girl inside. Meliodas brought his sword up about to strike it until his brother stopped him.

"What? What is it, brother?" asked meliodas.

"We shouldn't strike it." said zeldris.

"Why not?"

"We don't know what this is nor do we know what it does or what its going to be used for."

"You're right." said Meliodas as he put his sword away.

"But shall we inform father?"

"No. If he finds out he'll do god knows what, that'll kill us all."

Everyday Meliodas told Zeldris to check on that mysterious light/dark ball. Then, when zeldris would return he would inform his older brother what's going on.

But one day, when zeldris went to check on that ball.

IT WAS GONE.
