Love Island has always been about 20-somethings looking for love. This season will be unique as the protagonist of this story is a young woman who was given a special item by her late father, who worked for the British government. This item holds a hidden file which is of great interest to several countries.
The CIA and MI6 are both sending operatives who are going undercover to retrieve the item that Isabelle Gray, unbeknownst to her, has in her possession. In true Love Island form, they must stay in the competition by coupling up until the hidden item is retrieved. Will other countries send in operatives?

It Could Only be You
| Watty 2022 Shortlist | This is Daphs story; an MC worthy of the title, flitting between love and lust on her journey through Love Island as tries to find the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Some people struggle finding one person they want to be with, Daphs struggles to pick just one. An angsty rewrite of Season 2 with additional challenges and games, stretching out the summer for two months of sun, sex, and some petty behaviour. Stick with Daphs as she grows from her week one villain, making it all the way to the final, sometimes by the skin of her teeth, to become the best version of herself. Explicit content warning; a very, very bad Lucas warning; a slow, slow burn Bobby fic. Enjoy!Complete
