Aubry has been struggling in life as of recently. The fresh death of her mother paired with the sudden change in scenery has her feeling as if she's having to drag herself through every day that she has to spend without her mother. She lost both parents in the horrible car crash, as her father has hardly glanced at her since the accident. Aubry thought it was the ending of her happy life, and that she was now too emotionally impaired to be happy. What she didn't know was that it was only the beginning for greater things to come, and one of those greater things just so happened to be named Jay.
