That's when I realized exactly what I was fighting for. Everything I'd ever lost and everything I'd ever loved. I picked myself up, knees wobbly, hands shaking. The blood from the gash on my head began dripping again, running down my face Like I needed another reason to get this over with, and fast. "And the girl stands, again. You think she's here? Are you going to tell me you feel her presence? That's for weaklings, darling. She's far gone. Same as you." I smiled. I can only imagine how I looked. Bruised and bloody, holding a katana in my right hand. Armor dented, ruined. Nose runny with blood. And a smile. A perfect smile. I had nothing to loose, but everything to gain. "Gone? She's not gone. She's right here." They laughed. It would've give me chills if I wasn't dying "Do you take me for a fool? I killed her, you pathetic child." It was my turn to laugh. I surprised even myself with how cold it sounded. Then I grabbed my weapon tighter, a new sense of power corsing through me. "I was talking about me. Her Raven."

A new world. Somewhere she doesn't belong, and she knows it. But all it took was a pair of golden eyes to tell her that she was more at home here than she would be anywhere else. And all it took was a strong wind to blow her off course. Japan had always been home to him. The mountains, the fields, the little village nearby. He had grown up with it all. But that one full moon changed everything he knew. The strange smell that he didn't know. Something out of place. Normally something like that wouldn't have survived the hour. What he found in that field, however. Wasn't what he expected. An arranged marriage. A secret kept all too well. A death that never happened. A forbidden love that never should have been. And blood magic to deep for any mortal to brake. But no one ever said they were mortal. And no one ever said love has limits.
