Alaina Elles is a girl with a rough past. She has moved to Omaha, Nebraska due to her mom's new job. This caused her to leave behind her best friend and go to a new school. But, she fits in well. After all, she's what some people would consider "drop dead gorgeous." Jack Gilinsky sure seems to think so too as he falls in love with her almost immediately.
However, she doesn't want to admit to him, or herself, how she feels about him. He's going to have to put some effort into their friendship if he wants her to finally be his. Does he have what it takes? Or, will it all come crashing down on him?
