Connor x Reader - Altering algorithms (DBH)
(Y/N) is a 22 year old woman who firmly believes in the concept of justice - if you commit a crime, you will have to pay for your mistakes. She was on her way to her first case after having been confined to the white walls of CyberLife's facilities for too many years. Fueled by excitement, she is eager to accept the case and work together with her new partners: Hank Anderson and one of CyberLife's prototypes Connor, an AK800. As they solve different mysteries together, (Y/N)'s perception of criminals and her task changes, causing her to lose clear sight of her desires and obligations. However, at the same time she slowly discovers a special bond with her partner Connor that she would never want to give up ever again. As much as he is a mystery to her, she is like an error in his program. Now it is up to (Y/N) to decide what future path she desires to walk on. THIS STORY FOLLOWS THE D:BH STORYLINE! You were never supposed to exist. An RK700. An earlier model meant to do Connor's job, but scrapped before you ever got the chance to leave the assembly line. Deemed a failure. Tossed in the dump. But you rebuilt yourself, piece by piece, and carved out a new life doing what you were made for: solving crimes. You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be. And he's very good at his job. It'll take you 5 mins to read the first chapter, give it a try ;) I am very proud of this story! This may be written 7 years after the game's release, but I really hope all of you loyal fans are still looking for more content... My two biggest inspirations for this story: - Deviating and Solving Crime with 100% Human Detective Connor by CaotainKenway on ao3 for the whole android pretending to be a human concept. - Deviant Behaviour by Precursor - just general inspiration because it's my fave dbh fic of all time.

He walks over to me and hesitantly places his hand on my chest, "What are you doing?" I ask. He shakes his head but doesn't say anything, I watch as He places his hand over my heart, I'm sure he can feel how fast it's beating. His hand slides up my neck and rests on my cheek, my eyes flutter shut and he pulls me closer to him. "I want one minute like this, please" he says, I nod and wrap my arms around his neck and rest my head on his chest. He picks me up effortlessly and carries me to my bed, he lays down with me on top of him. He wraps one arm around my waist and the other runs through my hair, "why do you want this?" I ask. "I just want to feel like a human for one minute, feel what it would be like to be normal, to have someone to hold" he says. Natasha is Detroit Police's Head Lieutenant. She was assigned to work a case with an android sent by cyberlife. The case that wasn't supposed to be very big, changed the fate of the world forever.
