Even love gods get tired of love. At least, Armand does. For an eternity, he's been in charge of making sure humans find the "one", when a completely unexpected call for help throws him off track.
Sylvia, a 27-year-old assistant professor of art history, is fed up with love. For three years, she's been in a relationship with Edgar, who is as egoistical as he's unfaithful. All she wants is to be rid of her feelings for him, but she can't find a way out of this toxic relationship. When she gets dangerously close to a suicide attempt, she begs the heavens to free her from love.
This isn't one of Armand's usual calls. Intrigued and eager to escape the eternal boredom in his office at "Clouds of Love", he rushes down to earth to save Sylvia before it's too late, but when he suddenly finds himself caught up in feelings for her, this is only the beginning of his problems.
His ill-tempered boss, Mr. Z, is threatening to strip him of his immortality, and his on-and-off lover Natalia, the sultry and sex-hungry goddess of revenge, is not at all amused that Armand is kicking her off his god-sized bed.
Add to the mix a jealous and violent Edgar, who is not willing to give up Sylvia, Armand is in more trouble than he can handle.
Forced to make a choice between love and immortality, he must learn to trust his heart, or lose his chance at happiness that might not last an eternity, but could be forever.

Bella head towards where they're going, carefully stepping along the craggy rocks. When suddenly, one of the rock she step into knocks her off balance. She trip on a rocky out crop and stumble toward the ground, when someone steps in to catch her. "Whoa." Says the guy who catch her Bella reached out her arm going around his neck as he folds her safely into his arms. When she opens her eyes and turns up to look at who catches her. Ezra's face comes into view. So close to her face. Her arms are still around Ezra's neck. She abruptly take her hands off him and put a space between them, she stands up straight.. "Thank you." She utters to Ezra in a whisper. She looks ahead to see if their friends saw what just happened between her and Ezra. To her relief they're continuing the trek. They're oblivious of what just happened. Which is a good thing for her, because She hates to be teased. Her thoughts is interrupted by what Ezra said "Trust me, the pleasure is all mine. It's not everyday that a gorgeous woman falls right into my arms." looking directly at her which makes Bella blush. +++++++++++++++ I hope you fall in love with my story. He always had his way among girls and having blue eyes, a chiseled jaw and a hot body, didn't help either. With new woman on her arms every other day, he was obviously not planning on falling on that cliché word also called love, but would his thoughts of not falling in love still remain the same, after meeting her? Sienna Collins was a girl of 22 with extremely shy personality. "Come on, there must be something a guy does that catches your attention." My eyes casually glance around the courtyard, trying to figure out a quick response to her question. But then I hear a voice speak just to the right of us, Professor Abel happily talking to Mr. Levine. "Well?" "Older." I mumble. "Someone older." "Just older?" His deep grey eyes soften slightly in the sunlight. "Someone... colder too." "So you want someone as bad as Professor Abel?" My friend jokes poking my side with her fingers. I snap my head back to her, surprised at her question. To brush off the embarrassment I shrug my shoulders, faking a smile but my heart is pounding furiously. "Haha, very funny." It's as if our conversation has been leaked when my eyes rest back on the tall individual. The grey swirls are staring right back at me, his colleague oblivious of his wandering eyes. His expression is stern but in the light it seems as though his lips are curled up, making my stomach do a flip. "My type."
