Truth Hurts

Kayla Michelle leaves home to head to work as the waitress in the café down the road when she was almost hit by a black Mercedes with a sketchy driver inside and she runs for her life figuring that it could possibly be someone her dad had business with that was still out to seek revenge for what he has done.
She runs all the way to the back entrance to work when she sees an unfamiliar figure standing outside her workplace holding a cigarrete.
The figure seems to be a guy with brown eyes, silky black hair, sharp jawline and muscular body frame and looked a lot like her father.
Smoking wasn't usually allowed around the office so she figured he must have been new.
His name was Brian Watford and he had just moved into the city some weeks ago with his dad and was also new at her school. He was the new waiter in the café she worked at but there was more to this boy than the eye could see.
