"Madness is the emergency exit. You can just step outside and close the door and all those dreadful things that happened, you can lock them away...forever." - The Joker

Dr. Lois Weathers has achieved an outstanding record of rehabilitated patients at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City. In just 2 years she has worked her way up to a substantial payroll as a psychiatrist, (as large as one can be at Arkham, anyway) and has made a name for herself.
And then she is given the career opportunity of a lifetime - assigned as the Joker's new shrink.

But when she finds herself alone in a room with him, the glamour of working with the Clown Prince is darker and more horrifying then she could have possibly anticipated, and soon Lois begins to question everything.
