Hiro Akiba has been in love with Keitaro for years, but he's been too afraid to confess his feelings. It's only until he realizes that Keitaro is in love with someone else that he tries to give up on him. He falls into despair and almost gives up completely because of it. When another camper comforts him, he realizes that it's okay that his friend will never like him back. And also...maybe the best way to get over his first love is to pursue another.
