It would cause him immense pain.

He knew this well.

Pain would be an understatement. He longed for a life by Naruto's side, regardless of the obstacles and hardships they would have to face. He simply desired Naruto to be by his side... but at that moment, even if Naruto did not mean what he said and would forget everything after his rut subsided, Sasuke couldn't care less. Not when Naruto was thrusting into him with such passion. He felt loved in every sense of the word. Sasuke belonged and was completely his.

To keep or to lose.
