Wren is hot-blooded, impulsive, and crass. She's quick to draw her sword and even quicker to down a drink. She's known around town as a problem, just a lower-class girl with a big mouth, improperly mingling (and tussling) with men at the local tavern. No one expects anything from Wren but trouble, but little do they know that by night, she climbs the castle tower to visit her lover, the beautiful Princess Ivy. Ivy is everything that Wren is not: patient, measured, diplomatic, and soft-spoken. She could have any nobleman in the kingdom, but something about Wren's fiery passion sets her heart ablaze. She's the only one who makes Wren feel like she can be something more than a street rat. The only problem is that Ivy is of marrying age, and her father is eager to use his daughter's marriage to secure an alliance with a neighboring kingdom. If Ivy and Wren stand any chance at happiness, they'll need to act quick.

On a cold night in Connecticut, all Trevon Hawkins wishes for is a second chance. A chance to make a better life for himself through a fresh, clean slate. But, when he finally gets the chance he's been wishing for, it isn't what he was expecting. Faerun is a land torn by warfare. Battles, gods, and magical creatures shape the lands and the politics of the world. Four major races have built kingdoms. The Humans of Alavaar, the Elves of Sharal-Dun, the Orcs of the Shaar, and the Dwarves of Tharnaheim, all of them stricken with their own problems as they strive to survive in Faerun. Princess Alocertha is a girl stricken by love and prophecy. With the threat of a chosen suitor hanging over her head, she must make a decision, and fast, if she wants to save not only her self, but her choice to love. And with fresh starts with better lives, he'll face brutal kingdom wars, inter-racial politics, and love in a harrowing, action-packed story of high fantasy and adventure!
