17-year-old Maggie, the goody-two-shoes, the nerd, and the straight-A student, has never even considered the possibility of dying before 20. Spoiler alert; now she's dead. Except, she's also never considered the existence of ghosts. Before she became one. Now she has to re-learn everything about the world, from another point of view. Except it's not the same. She wanted to fall in-love. She was so close to scoring a spot at Harvard. She was living her best life. But now it's gone.

18-year-old Mac, a bassist in a popular teenage boy band, Binded, just wanted to die. He wanted his world to end and his life to be forgotten. He wanted his soul to be lost for eternity. But then he became a ghost. Now he's twisted between finding a way to exile his soul so he'll never have to experience anything close to 'life' again, or starting a new story as a ghost.

When their two worlds collide, it's anything but love at first sight. Happy, quirky Maggie is the complete opposite to depressed, suicidal Mac. But when the world reveal secrets to only the dead and mysteries unfold, they realize that they may have more in common than they thought; including the fact that their deaths are somehow connected.
