Ten People who never met, into this strange world. Have forgotten all their memories, know only their names. The first one got dragged off into the abyss Now they are dead. Nine People who know each a little bit, One wanted to be a hero And sacrificed their selves Eight people who know each other One didn't hide They thought they could run away But they weren't quick enough and got slayed. Seven People who are despaired One didn't know there were booby traps Got eaten alive. The Ballad of The Amberstone
If you're like me, you're tired-tired of being told you're ordinary, tired of doing the same thing that everyone else is doing, tired of the countless books, movies, and stories that imprint the idea that only The Chosen One can change the world while the rest of us are forced to watch from the sidelines. If you're like me, then you're also not The Chosen One. But wouldn't you like to be? If you were given the chance to be The Chosen One, wouldn't you take it? What if you knew it was a stone-cold lie? My journey unfolds on a secret island located somewhere between the end of the road and the middle of nowhere. Upon arrival, the inhabitants believed I was Gabriel-the prophet of the prophecy destined to save the island of Concordia from an extinction-level civil war. There's just one problem: I am not Gabriel. But that didn't stop me from stealing the mantle of The Chosen One for myself, unprepared for the consequences this lie would unfold and ill-equipped for what being The Chosen One really means. What followed was an epic clash of culture, values, and heart as each of the five divided Kingdoms of Concordia tried to convince me that their way of life was best. I was waiting for my dad when my life changed. Not in any way like a fairy tale with magic wands or going through a rabbit hole like kids in the books do. More like I found it and wished my father came back to clean up his own problem instead of risking my life for this. I can only hope that I will make it out alive.
The Shadow Play
In a world, the people are all blessed with powers or magic of their own at the age of 15. But it depends on what they have doing in life. Six friends were blessed with magic of their own, and they go to the School of Magic to learn how to control their powers/magic. They learn about the Pillars, who were the first ever people to gain powers or magic, and they were told to find out more information about them. But they realise that they have vanished a thousand years ago, making their research harder as there wasn't much information about them after their disappearance. It was then one of them decided to bring them back after learning what happened to them. Will they bring them back? Or will the darkness win the battle? Notes: Now obviously, this story isn't real, and some of them might be unrecognisable with each other, and well thats because they have not met yet.
