Did I fall for an illusion?

Kazuha coughed slowly, still recovering from the ghastly air the scroll had produced. He opened his eyes, slowly adjusting to the smoky view. His eyes darted around the area, searching for the scroll. Instead what met him wasn't a scroll.

But rather a man much taller than him with a familiar purple scarf and that iconic big red overcoat. His hair was still tied high in a ponytail and his face was the same as all those years ago.

"T-tomo..?"

"Kazuha?"

Kazuha gets an offer to resurrect Tomo. But in this world everything comes with a price.
