Luke Briett was only 18 years old when he lost his mother in a tragic car accident. His father was never talked about and the police couldn't find and 'capable' relatives to take care of his younger sister Geordie, so he became her sole guardian.

That meant his football scholarship was out the window! How could he pay the bills and expenses if he stayed at school? So Luke sells there house and up and moves them to a new town, using the money to rent a small apartment above a coffee shop.

With no friends, family and the life of a parent thrown at him, will he meet the girl of his dreams? Or is it all too hard for Luke to trust again.
