Now you see; you could never actually find a time where Vittoro didn't love Althea

Althea was always there, and Vittoro has always loved her. And Vittoro will always love her, even if she could not love him back.

There is only so much you could do when a ghost loves a girl.

When the dead falls for the living it is most certainly a lost cause. Because in no way was she capable of loving him back, in no way was she even capable of knowing he exists.

Vittoro basically doomed himself when he fell for the girl who doesn't age, who could never die.

What is a ghost supposed to do when he loves an immortal being?
