Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. I know a lot of people skip Prologues, however, it has important information that will give you a better understanding of what's going on in other chapters. Feel free to comment and vote.
