Vicky Levinson is the wife of satellite tech, David Levinson. She works for him, they work with a man who flips out easy but loves them, as well as Vicky's protective and sassy friend. David may have anger issues, sometimes drinks too much, lack of living, and Vicky isn't having any of it. Drinking may not be the real issue, maybe it's just they're at different places in life. Maybe it's just that he can't open up.

Due to their complicated relationship, Vicky is taking up on an offer from a close friend to work for the president. But alongside that, Vicky's also struggling with a medical condition, as well as attempting to care for their two-month old baby boy. 

Nearing Independence Day, aliens decide they're gonna pay a visit to earth. David and Vicky enlist the help of his ex-wife and the president. Together, the group gets together, and they enlist in the help of a Marine Corp F/A-18 pilot named Steve to help take them down. But as they try to end the aliens, can Vicky and David preserve their relationship?

*To note, I haven't seen ESOTSM, the gifs were taken from that movie, and The Holiday. Vicky is not based off of Kate Winslet's characters from those movies. But, Vicky is in her early 30s, at the start of the story, and I realized that some of the gifs suit her, at a specific time.

Victoria, a 26 year old medical billing and coding specialist, has had enough with her current position in life. Her boyfriend of six years hasn't been contributing to their relationship, and hasn't worked in months. Every day she comes home from work, he's drunk, his friends are over, and their apartment is a mess from his partying ways. She comes home to something she didn't expect to see and breaks up with him. She tries getting him to move out, in which he refuses to, and later causes a scene in front of the last person she wanted it to happen in front of. A new doctor starts at the clinic she works and learns he bought the clinic, unhappy with the way it looks and the way things were ran, he starts making changes. Once he meets Victoria, and sees what kind of attitude she has, he decides he'll have a little fun with her, pissing her off. Victoria is not a fan of the new doctor, in fact, she despises him, and comes up with a nickname for him. The doctor takes a liking to her, and senses she likes him too, even though it shows differently. He comes on to her, she responds, surprising herself. With everything going on in her life, she want's a change, is afraid of change, but after her first kiss with Doctor Jones, she becomes hooked, and wants more. She knows what she wants, and feels she will give him a chance, until someone tries killing her chances with him. Eventually the two hook up, and both end up craving for more, getting it every chance they can. Can the two continue on with their affair without their peers figuring it out? She can not imagine standing next to him as it actually happens. His visions point to her, preventing the invasion by magic. But he has centuries of magical experience, so what makes it possible for her and not him? She must quickly discover that uniqueness and use it to create a friendship with the aliens before the world as we know it ends. Caution: there are many sex scenes limited to a sentence or thereabout, suggesting you use your imagination to fill in the details.
