The feeling of entitlement, that if we follow the status quo all will be well. If we do all that is expected of us, will we really be happy? Can a beautiful house built on  a cracked, faulty foundation really be a safe home? A happy home? When slowly with time it's beauty fades with cracks in the walls,  rickety noises, the warping and discolouring of the paint.  The beautiful independent woman that is Ava Michaels can be said to be like a beautiful home, warm, inviting, a place where the heart is happy. But all that she is, is it really what meets the eye or is there more?
