instead of stopping at the 100th cycle, The hunger came to that world earlier than they thought so with the light in hand and a heavy heart knowing another world will be destroyed because of this thing they left on the star blaster into the next cycle. its easy to say things are definitely different here in the demon realm. who knows how long it will take for the hunger to come to this one and with the designs for the items to carry the light all they have to do is find it. Will they find the light in time, and will it be enough to hide from the hunger or will it consume another world, or will they finally find a way to defeat the hunger and have a home, time will only tell.

"I saw you and you were just standing there. I started walking towards you and you-just-just stood there." Stuttered Stiles. "I tapped on your shoulder and you turned around. You didn't answer me. You didn't even notice I was there. You just stared at something, something that wasn't visible and y-you-" Paused Stiles, whose legs were vibrating and he started to breathe heavily. "And I what?" I asked trying to get the words out. "You died." He stated. "What?" Asked I, like he had just said the most craziest thing ever. It was slightly humorous. He had to be joking, I thought to myself. "You- just died." Murmured Stiles, who had stopped shaking and had stood up. -------------- The world consists of many parallel multiverses. Each separate and unique. We all know Earth 1, yet not many people are familiar to the lost planet, Earth 1000. The planet was Imperium; Declared the most powerful, biggest rogue planet of the multiverse- many people sought out to rule it. Therefore a war was sparked. Some people say, that the planet birthed death because of the deadly war. However, something else was birthed, an heir. Her name was Milia. She possessed true power and ultimately ended the war. Milia ruled the world and her children became the inevitable successors. Although they lacked Milia's gift, the future generation, though it was thousand's of years later contained Milia's powers. The children were named the true heir, therefore they were hunted. No hunter was more well known than the bitch, the baddest; Methaya. Being half human, half snake, her luminescent eyes turned the living into the inanimate. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny. After a prophecy declaring that the oldest would die, the truth started unravelling and they learnt things- that would change things forever. Thirteen Points of Light
After a night on the town, Sarah wakes up to a miserable hangover. But it's nothing compared to what comes next. After attempting to light a cigarette, she feels that something isn't quite right. Soon she'll discover that everything is very wrong. My entry in the Open Novella Contest III, Feb 2020. April 28. Just got the news that Thirteen Points has made it through the second round. Now I have to finish by May 5th. I'm not as far along as I had hoped at this point, but I'm sure I can make it. May 4th. 12:10 am. Finished. Submitted. Good night. May 20th. Well, 13 Points made the Long List. I have no idea how many original entries there were but about 940 made the first cut. There's 150 on the Long List. Not bad for my first time out. Now we'll wait and see how we fare on the Short List. May 30th. Well, Sarah and company didn't make the Short List. I can't say I'm disappointed though.
