On his way to the Land of Contracts, Kazuha stumbles upon a familiar and witted detective, Shikanoin Heizou. The detective asks the wanderer if he would join him on an endeavor to explore a domain, to which he agrees. In this lingering moment, they find themselves in the comfort of eachother's presence.

Perhaps, young love is blossoming between the two.... Under the autumn sky, they learn about eachother more and learn to trust eachother. A guilt carried for years, a tale of tragedy... 

As the wanderer and the detective venture off into the domain, after having rested with eachother's presence... they realize that they're more than acquainces or friends... they have already fallen in love. This tale of romance from early beginnings is told in this story.

Note: This story takes place two years after the traveler entered Sumeru.
