Friday the 13th: Revenge of the Final Girls

For better or worse, The Crystal Lake Massacre is forever ingrained into the consciousness of society. Starting slowly in the 1960s, then again in 1980, the mass murders reached a fever pitch in the spring of 1985, coming to a halt only when the perpetrator- Jason Voorhees- was finally stopped by would-be victims. Since that time, the blood soaked events have been immortalized in the form of films, books, action figures and other memorabilia, with the general public ravenous for more content. The murderers- Jason and his mother- may be long dead, but their legacy lives on.

With their identities shrouded in mystery, the survivors of The Crystal Lake Massacre live on in relative peace. Ginny Field works as a child psychologist. Chris Higgins is a crisis line counselor. Trish Jarvis runs a horse ranch with occasional help from Tommy, her younger brother and college student. Abby Hardy, the twin sister of the first survivor- Alice- lives on despite Alice's mysterious disappearance just two months after surviving a night at Camp Crystal Lake. Though forever changed by the murders, they've managed to pick up the pieces and move forward with each other for support.

But when plans are made to reopen Camp Crystal Lake, which has been dormant for over a decade, the survivors are forced to band together and banish their trauma once and for all.

And as for Jason, himself? He'll soon learn what happens when you fuck with the Final Girls.
