After the ordeal with Pitch, Jack learns that 3 other spirits exist, one that was killed in a heroic sacrifice, another was killed on accident, and the last was killed by a madman. Their names are Hiccup, Rapunzel, and Merida. These 3 individuals had their own issues to deal with. And it's up to Jack to teach them, or at least try to. 

 Meanwhile, Pitch Black has some plans of his own, and they aren't looking good for the new four.
