The summer of '85 changed Jenna's life for ever. She is the shy daughter of a southern preacher. She is sent to live with her grandmother, while her parents pack up their house to move to another parish. She was raised to be steady as a preacher. But her heart longs to be wild as the wind. When she runs into a long haired boy who is the complete opposite of her, she is intrigued. And when he takes her under his wing they are in for a fun summer

"That summer seemed to last forever..."

Some music mentioned won't be accurate for the time, and is "written" by the character (But it fits)
If you guys want I'll make a Spotify list. But all credit goes to the original writers. They are geniuses.

"Back to the place I know is meant for me. To find my way back; find my way back home." - Four Year Strong Priscilla heads home to Hawkins for the first time in years to finally reunite with her best friend Robin. She just barely makes it in her car that is on its last leg. Priscilla reunites with her old flame, Steve Harrington and Robin's friend Eddie can't seem to keep his eyes off her either. She turns Eddie down for weeks, making it quite obvious that she isn't into him. Robin tells Priscilla that Eddie works as a mechanic and Priscilla is relieved, hoping that the repairs on her car won't cost as much as she expects. But when Eddie offers to fix her car at the cost of a date with him, will she take it or continue to shut him down? As tensions begin to arise within her friend group, Priscilla starts to wonder if this secret she's kept hidden from everyone really has turned her into this unlovable shell of the person she once was. Steve is still in love with Nancy. Eddie is starved for love and affection and will look for it wherever he can. Priscilla is still haunted by her past, fearing that she'll never be able to form a genuine connection with someone else ever again. And Robin is, well, stuck in the middle of all of it. Main characters are aged up to 21+. This story is cross posted on AO3. Rebecca's light bulb has been flickering on and off for precisely seventeen years. The constant rotation of cocktail parties and questioning every human in her path is annihilating. And if there is one person who she believes to be the cause of weakening her even when she left her previous life behind, it is Dallas Winston. He has every terrible trait bestowed in him. He never takes the burden of morality, he only dodges it until he is the embodiment of terror. It is too easy to despise him. For who truly doesn't? But little do they know that they are far more similar than they would like to think. And whether they would prefer to admit it or not (they most indefinitely do not, for they are stubborn as hell), he was meant to be hers, and she was meant to be his. Disclaimers: *there will be talk of sexual assault, acts of violence, racism, sexuality, classism, etc. So if you're not comfortable with any of those things don't read! I really want this book to be realistic to the time period and bring to light how people were treated but if I miss anything important please let me know!
