Until I Met Her
I was never the cool girl. Never the centre of attention. Hell, the first party I ever went to was because Kheli dragged me there when I was seventeen. Oh, Kheli... Kheli was my first love. My first everything. But once we finished high school, we parted ways. My plans were very clear: go to university, have fun, go to parties, maybe fool around at some point when missing Kheli got too much for me to handle. I don't know - the typical university life you see in movies. However, it was nothing like that. I was struggling to keep up with my assignments, my classes, all the drama, the parties, Kheli, the people, Pokémon Go - everything. I couldn't keep up with any of it. And then... Eleanor Williams did what she does best. She came out of nowhere and planted herself right in the middle of my world. And like a very fucking annoying tree, she set down roots and refused to move. And then I found myself - God, kill me now - enjoying being around Eleanor Williams. I found myself watering the fucking tree even when I knew it would only make the roots grow deeper, until there was no way of pulling it out. (Yes, sometimes I make very shitty metaphors. You'll get used to it.) But just because I was, much to my dismay, enjoying Eleanor Williams's company didn't mean she wanted me around.

Outcasts
Two girls. At school they're total opposites. The cheer captain and the loaner geek. But at home, life isn't all as it's seems. And one teacher, and their relentless assignments, bring them closer together. *** "You missed me?" I ask as if it's such a shock because to me it is. I'm a nobody. "Hm." She hums with a nod, "I didn't really know how to ask you if you wanted to hang out again, and well, thanks to my fucked up life, here we are, I found an excuse." "You do realise you can just ask me?" I'm a hypocrite, I couldn't do it either. "I know, but honestly, you kind of intimidate me and I just kinda thought maybe just a small part of you thought it was just about the projects."Complete
The Gods of Song and Poetry
"Kala's dark, smooth skin and Kelly's pale, heavily freckled face contrasted so vibrantly I wondered how they could both be so beautiful. They were like a living yin-yang. Kala sat with legs crossed and arms on her armrests, calmly waiting for the curtains to open. Kelly was talking and laughing excitedly with people all around her. Both girls radiated energy. Kelly's was all kinetic. Kala's was pure potential. Fire sat next to water." Analee didn't have an LGBTQ community to join. In her small town, she WAS the LGBTQ community. When two new girls move into town her senior year, one older, one younger, everything changes for her. It turns out falling in love is harder than she thinks. Even with a steadfast belief in true love, Analee finds navigating romance, friendships, and family something that has to be figured out one day at a time.Complete
Cynical Souls
COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. He sounds annoyed, like he regrets his decision to ever stop and help me. ❣️•••❣️ #5 in cynical #2 in loveandfriendship #1 in opinionated #4 in ihatelife #10 in nerdgirl #10 in HighschoolRomance #26 in GoodGirlBadBoy *contains mature themes. *contains cursing.Complete
