There's nothing left for Liliana Barker in Trenton, NJ. Working since the age of 7 as a laundry girl for a newsboy lodge, Lily has earned enough to move to the big city of New York. Figuring that she's learned enough about the life of a newsie from the boys, Lily leaves at 16 to make a name for herself. She couldn't have guessed she'd be given a name by none other than the Manhattan Newsies. Will New York be the chance of a lifetime Lily had hoped for? Or will the challenges of a Newsie be too much to handle?

(I'm not the best at descriptions so read on to find out what happens. This story will also be a combination between the 1992 movie and the Broadway musical.)
