Even though its the future, the world has changed. Technologies are used but the ways are all old. Girls aren't allowed out of their homes until they are 20. What if Elena Walkers one day leaves her home to see the outer world but is caught by the king himself and the king's heart creates a liking towards her?
It seems that he is the most feared and the most dangerous vampire known and he will do anything to get her but Elena can't leave her family and home.
