What if he met and talked to Kurama when he was three after a very specific encounter with the Villages civilians after being kicked out of the orphanage? What if Kurama decided to train him to defend himself from the people of the village, but he didn't want to hurt the villagers and instead wanted to prove them wrong so he hid his power and true self behind closed doors only letting it show after the mission to the Land of Waves
