"Did you want this life?" I got this question a couple times in my life. And every single time someone would ask me this question, I would simply say yes just to spare them the depressing details of my life. I hated lying, but naturally we wouldn't just come out and tell people our whole entire life story. Well, I'm done lying. I'm Savannah Hernandez, 17, and I lived out my life in fear and sadness. I couldn't go one day without looking in my closet and thought, "hm, what outfit isn't going to expose my scars and bruises". That was the life I lived.
