Lyda has been an outcast all her life in Verdallan. While life had never been easy for her following her mother's death, friendships she made a long the way helped her to survive. But, when a new queen takes the throne, Lyda is forced to make a decision that will change her life forever, and she is forced into exile from the only home she's ever known. Exile may sound terrifying but even more so when it sends you into the fae lands that no one has returned from in 500 years. Will Lyda be able to escape exile and save her home? Or will she be trapped amongst a violent kind that has been lost to history forever?

Aurelia always felt as though she didn't quite fit in. Ever since she was a child her parents despised her. They never showed an ounce of love or interest towards her instead they directed all that love and interest on to her sister aka the golden child. Weird visions, nightmares and unexplainable paranormal events were occuring around her. Was this all real or just in her imagination? On Aurelia's eighteenth birthday she'd finally had enough of her insufferable family. She packed up her belongings and ran away. Away from the life she'd always known and away from the iniquitous people she'd to call mum and dad her whole life. Instead she ran towards a new life and new beginning. It was on this journey that she met him. Tristan Hawthorne. The person who held the answer to all her questions. Aurelia would soon discover not everything is as it seems and nor is she. [ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.

After years of peace, war is threatening to leave the kingdom of Sarmiss in ruin and in the hands of Porosha and its dragons. Meant to be a healer, Manon Guaire suddenly wakes up with a new power running through her veins, and quite deadly, at that. Power of both Life and Death. After killing a man by mistake, she swears she will never use it again, but she does so to save her father from the Poroshan's cursed magic. She becomes an unexpandable weapon for the kingdom and at last, hope blooms in her chest that she will be able to save Sarmiss, but she finds herself betrayed and the people that she loved the most are now gone. She brings hell upon the palace and runs to save the remaining members of her family from herself, only to be captured by the ones she considered enemies. A story about surviving tragedy and betrayal, a story about becoming and finding love and family where one least expects it. Dear readers, thank you for giving my book a try. I have been cooking this since 4 or 5 years ago. Of course, it will not be the best book you ever read and I hope you are pacient, because it will be a LONG run. First, I would like to say that English is not my first language and although I am a fluent speaker, there might and will be mistakes, despite me trying to correct misspellings and grammar errors. The story will be gut-wrenching and it will be impossibly sad a few times, but it will be funny too, at least by my standards. There will be an enemies-to-lover situation, a bloody one, I might say. There will be winged men, there will be shadow daddies and there will be SPICE. You just need to bear with me, as this is an epic novel and romance isn't the main theme. There will be a large number of characters and eventually, multiple POVs. I am already 60 A4 pages in (today, the 8th in the month of Tewdrig, 2024 A.D.), and it is only now that the action is... well... starting. Once again, thank you for being here. :*

15 parts Ongoing

As the spare heir to the kingdom of Thegalla, Lauden Erynore's life comes with certain obligations. Like keeping secrets that could tear the country apart and marrying the heir to neighbouring kingdom Zegon to prevent their king invading with his army of kerei; the fearsome dragon shifters under Zegon's command. Still, it could be worse. Crown Prince Reyn is full of witty banter and he's just as sexy as the rumours suggested. For an arranged marriage to a complete stranger with a murderous father, things aren't looking so bad. So, of course, it does get worse. The minute she steps foot into Zegon, Lauden lands firmly in the sights of the kerei legion's deadliest soldier. Lieutenant Drace Darkmore, second bond to Zegon's king, is on a mission to kill any Thegallan that stumbles into his path. Something Lauden does quite literally and all too frequently. Plus, those secrets that could tear apart her country explode out of her - killing dozens in the process. But they are not the only secrets to spill. The more Lauden learns about the shadowed world of the kerei, the more she realises that the truth she grew up on might not be the only one. And the first truth she'll have to learn is that everyone has a little fyre inside them.
