here there's a girl.
she walks up and down the narrow halls getting stares she has always known of.
stares of no mercy, hearing others speak of her.
she hears them telling one another how to make her suicide possible.
she can't walk down the halls without the feeling of numbness and no power within herself.
the razor she once knew, she meets again.
slowly going across her thick thighs,
her small wrist. nobody hears her screams
of pain and hopelessness.
her father takes a wire and smacks her around as he has another drink while her mother gets high as she screams at her mother to help her with no answer.
her little sister hiding in the corners of the house not known what's happening. scared, confused.
she comforts her sister and goes to get help
when her father takes the gun across the table and points it at her.
she stands there reaching her arms around
and says ' shoot me, I'm ready '
he does and she lays there with a smile of relief.
' hopeless ' her last words as her eyes shut
