Jane is still a lawyer but in Sacramento and a partner in her nieces Avery Rizzoli law firm, Rizzoli,Rizzoli and Associates. Her niece has been trying to set her up on date with Dr. Maura Isles who works as the chief forensics medical examiner of Sacramento County. Jane is in dire need of a partner for a cooking class her aunt kiki signed up for. All of Jane's family and friends have tried numerous times to teach her how cook so she can cooking for her dates. Angela Rizzoli and her aunts Kiki and Lisa Fox have given up trying to teach her how to cook.
